The animal-communicator, author and artist Gudrun Weerasinghe studied, among other things, art and design at the university in Essen, Germany, and became well-known through her participation in renowned international art exhibitions, TV appearances and articles in important art journals and magazines. She strives always to connect her artistic career with her activities in animal communication and protection.
Gudrun is known as Germany`s first official Animal Communicator. When the Animal Communication movement swept over from the States to Europe in 1996 she started to publish books about that topic and trained numerous people in Germany as well as in international seminars in the area of animals communications.

Gudrun Weerasinghe has made a name for herself by holding seminars in different areas. In the area of animal-communications she is a mediator between animals and man, caring for better understanding and harmonious companionship between them. Her main interests are the clearing of behavioural disturbances, the promotion of wellness, the establishment of mutual trust between man and animals of all species. Further: the general expansion of human consciousness and sensitivity toward animals for the good of both.

Thus she considers herself not only as a "translator", but also a "mediator" between animals themselves and between animals and humans. Her university studies in sociology, education and psychology contribute to these activities. Her public lectures and her written publications aim to help us understand animals on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels and to aid us in carrying out telepathic communication with them.
